About: Parcgwyn Farm is a 10 acre smallholding on the outskirts of Kidwelly, Carmarthenshire. Once a larger working farm, it used to supply milk to the local community. Locals have told us that, because of its discreet location, it was even used as a secret meeting place during the famous Rebecca Riots. What an incredible piece of local history.

Today, Parcgwyn is a cherished family home, and we are delighted to share its beauty through our small eco campsite, offering off-grid, environmentally conscious holidays for campers of all ages.

We have five spacious, family-sized grass camping pitches, each with its own picnic table and fire pit. For those looking for a little more comfort, we also offer three beautiful bell tents. These come with a picnic table, fire pit, a cosy double bed, and an outdoor kitchen shelter with a gas stove and cool box.

Our Cuddfan Hut provides true luxury with a camping twist. You can warm yourself in front of the log burner or sit by the fire pit and watch the sun go down behind the distant hills, without another person in sight. It is a real escape from the everyday.

We are surrounded by stunning natural beauty, making Parcgwyn a haven for nature lovers and walkers. Red kites often nest nearby and can be seen gliding overhead as you enjoy your morning coffee. A family of buzzards lives in the tall trees that shelter the campsite, and you will often see them soaring above or perched on a fence post.

Worth Noting: We provide seasoned wood for your campfires. Your four-legged family members are very welcome to join you on your camping trip. We even have a dedicated washing area for them, fed directly by our natural spring, perfect for rinsing off sand or mud after a day of adventure.
