Cae Ddel Country Camping

Country campsite just three miles from Criccieth beach on the Llyn Peninsula.

About: This eight-acre site is located just three miles from the seaside town of Criccieth, on the Llyn Peninsula. Here, you can relax and unwind, escaping the hustle and bustle of everyday life in our natural off-grid, back-to-basics surroundings.

We offer seven tent pitches in total: six on our main field, one of which is suitable for a tent with a roof box or a small campervan, as well as one wild camping pitch in the woods.

In addition, we have two pre-pitched, fully furnished bell tents and glamping cabins. The bell tents each have their own mini outdoor kitchens with BBQs and seating areas, while the cabins feature a larger outdoor kitchen, BBQ, seating area and private composting toilets.

A trailer has been beautifully converted to house toilets, hot showers and a washing-up area.

Additionally, on-site, we have two ponds and picnic shelters for when it’s not quite dry enough to sit outside your tent.

Barbecues are permitted as long as they are off the ground. Dogs are also welcome on site but must be kept on their leads unless they are being let off for a run in the designated dog exercise field.

There are numerous nearby attractions to keep you occupied throughout the day, ranging from a hike up Snowdon, which is just 20 minutes away, to a day spent exploring local castles or simply relaxing at the beach. Additionally, the surrounding town offers a variety of excellent cafés, pubs and restaurants for you to enjoy.

Worth Noting: Fire pits, chimneys and barbecues may only be lit if it is not windy. Dogs must be kept on a lead unless within the exercise field. Off grid - no wi-fi and no hook ups.
