Wedmore Village Farm
Sleep under the stars on our community farm campsite, nestled in the historic village of Wedmore.
About: Choose from one of our two cosy timber camping pods, bring your own tent, or arrive with a campervan and pitch up on our, wild and rustic site. You’ll be surrounded by meadowland and our newly planted woodland, located at the southern edge of the community farm, offering stunning views over the village and the Somerset Levels. Enjoy the use of our ceramic BBQ on its level decking or gather around a fire pit in the field.
Take a gentle stroll into the village to explore its welcoming pubs, cafés, restaurants and independent shops. The community farm is an ideal getaway for singles, couples, and families alike.
Perfectly situated near the towns of Glastonbury, Wells, and Cheddar, you’ll find beautiful walks, historic landmarks and attractions such as Wells Cathedral, Glastonbury Abbey and Tor, and Cheddar Gorge. Within 40 minutes, you can also reach the culturally rich cities of Bristol and Bath, making this a fantastic base for exploring Somerset and beyond.
The community farm is run by the Food Forest Project, an intersectional environmental charity that sets up community growing schemes to help tackle food insecurity and biodiversity loss in Somerset. All profits go back into the charity to help maintain the work we do with food banks and schools. For more details search for the Food Forest Project, or for more information about the farm, search for Wedmore Village farm.
