About: Hidden Valley Dorset was created from a simple idea: that camping should bring people closer to nature, while protecting the landscapes that make it special. Nestled in a peaceful corner of rural Dorset, our campsite has grown with care and respect for the land, offering guests a tranquil place to slow down, explore and reconnect.

We believe in camping that treads lightly. Every aspect of Hidden Valley Dorset has been thoughtfully designed to reduce environmental impact. From our renewable energy use and sustainable facilities, to our wildlife-friendly spaces that encourage biodiversity.

Our bell tents combine home comforts with simple, outdoor living. Guests can unwind in the hot tub, then wake to a freshly cooked breakfast in the communal kitchen, complete with electric facilities. Whether you prefer the charm of traditional camping, or the ease of a ready-made retreat, there’s space here to relax and recharge. You can sit outside your bell tent and enjoy the views, or take walks in every direction. 

Beyond our boundaries, Dorset’s stunning countryside and coastline invite endless adventure. We are a short drive to the market town of Bridport, which has lots going on. For many, the best moments are found right here: evenings by the fire, the sound of owls at dusk, and mornings filled with birdsong.
