About: Set in 29 acres of nature reserve, Bôn Camping is not your average campsite. Perched on the side of a coastal valley, this campsite offers both woodland and meadow pitches with self contained on-pitch facility of compost loo, hot shower, and under cover washing up sink and food prep area. Ideally situated in the middle of the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park, beautiful beaches are but a 5 minute drive away, with prime conditions for surfing, sunbathing, walking and simply taking it all in.

Bôn Camping has pitches spread across both meadow and woodland, rich in biodiversity, plant and wildlife. The meadow benefits from beautiful panoramic views across the valley, and has a total of five pitches, four being regular size and one extra large pitch for two families to share. The meadow itself grows long grass and wild flowers, encouraging a vast array of life to inhabit there, not just campers. This comes with the added bonus of large spaces between pitches, allowing each some seclusion. Listen to the breeze rolling through the long grass, the sounds of the sea ebbing up through the valley, and take in the glorious night sky. Each facility has its own drinking water and hot and cold taps for washing up.

The pitches in the woods total seven, offering guaranteed shelter from coastal winds, with plenty of space between each pitch. Some of these clearings are more hidden than others, and are perfect if you really want to get away from it all in the wild woods. With lots of undisturbed natural habitat, the woods are frequented by a plethora of wildlife, and we encourage you to share any sightings or encounters you may have. Akin to the meadow, the woodland pitches all have private facilities on them.

The whole site is joined together by a network of paths that go right around the 29 acres. Every pitch has a picnic table, fire pits to borrow free-of-charge, and tubs of firewood provided onsite at an additional cost. Two kayaks are also available to borrow. In the main shed, there are communal fridges, and freezers for campsite use.

There are also three self-contained glamping structures onsite - a yurt and two bell tents. All three structures have a picnic table, fire pit, double bed, camp kitchen, pots, pans, cutlery, crockery, utensils, a gas stove and BBQ, as well as its own private ensuite facility and camp kitchen providing shelter in all weather.

The ethos of Bôn Camping is one of ensuring a truly low-impact, environmentally-conscious approach to camping, with the intention of creating a safe place for kids to roam freely around the site. This means that the site has a no cars on pitches policy, cars being parked centrally, and all luggage being moved using the wheelbarrows provided. In addition to this, campers are politely asked to use only eco products onsite for the stay. Eco-friendly products are therefore provided at no extra cost - shampoo, conditioner, soap and washing up liquid. Apart from the owners’ own dog and cat, the site is also dog-free, a decision that comes from ensuring the safety of local wildlife and other guests' peace of mind.

Worth Noting: Booking in advance is essential. Each pitch has its own private facility of compost toilet, hot showers and undercover washing up sinks, a picnic table and a fire pit. There are communal fridges and freezers in an undercover area in the main shed, central to the site. Wheelbarrows are provided for getting your gear to the pitch. Kayaks available to borrow. A 10 minute walk from site - family friendly pub and micro brewery serving good food, as well as a public tennis court and play park. You can walk from the site through magical woodland paths into the Brandy Brook valley on a circular route.
