About: Run by mother and daughter, Little Welsh Wood is just a few miles from some of the very best beaches Pembrokeshire has to offer. We are only about a mile from the breathtakingly beautiful coast path, near its mid point. A public footpath running through our farm links to scenic walks and enables you to join the Coast Path or enjoy circular routes returning to the campsite.

You can choose to pitch up under our ancient beech trees, or in our hay meadow running along the fringe of the wood. We also have two hard-standing meadow pitches suitable for trailer tents and campervans (VW/sprinter style only).

Each pitch has its own campfire, picnic table and most have a covered hut where you can prepare your meals - whatever the weather. Most have access to electric hook-up. Three of our camping pitches have a private compost toilet/shower on the pitch and the rest are assigned a flushing toilet and shower in the nearby cowshed. The cowshed also has hot water washing up facilities and communal fridge/freezers.

Little Welsh Wood offers three glamping units, including a spacious geodome, emperor bell tent and a converted horse lorry. Each is fully kitted out, you need only bring yourself!

Children (and grown-ups!) can enjoy ambling across the meadow to meet our four friendly donkeys and three miniature Shetland ponies. With a large meadow area, children can run and play without the worry of disturbing other guests.

Little Welsh Wood will appeal to those who want to enjoy the simple delights of camping in the countryside and is perfect for walking and bird-watching (it's amazing to watch red kites soaring overhead). Or, just to sit and relax away from the hubbub of everyday life.

Located in the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park, our campsite is ideally placed for visiting the Dale peninsular and Skomer Island, plus the many beaches around St Brides Bay. Skomer is famous for its puffins, a trip to see these iconic birds during the breeding season would be the highlight of any holiday.

Worth Noting: We accept well behaved dogs. We are a car-free site but provide wheelbarrows for hauling your camping gear. Our site is on a small working farm with an old cowshed re-purposed to provide washing up, communal fridge/freezer and flushing toilet & shower facilities. Please note, during the school summer holiday period, guests may be required to share a toilet/shower with one other pitch.

Number of Pitches: 15, including three glamping units

Open: All year round. Winter bookings subject to ground conditions.
