About: King's Mill is a grade II listed 18th century water mill, located a stone's throw from the world famous Freshwater West Beach. A mill has been on the site since the 1500's. There have been monks and millers here over many generations but in 1910 when the waterwheel stopped turning and the gears fell silent, sadly the building was left to degrade.

Since 2016 we have been painstakingly renovating and restoring the buildings and rewilding. It is a lifetime's work and we are far from finished but we invite you to be a part of our journey by staying here and enjoying what we think is a very special place.

Our vision is to leave the 16 acres as wild as possible. We have planted thousands of new native deciduous trees and sown millions of native wild flower seeds. We have an abundance of rare flora and fauna and we want to protect our little part of the environment for future generations to come.

Don’t expect manicured lawns and tarmac roads. Expect open spaces, thistles and thorns, bugs and bees and a true sense of reconnecting with nature. Here you are welcome to explore our ancient woodland, play on rope swings and have a campfire in your own little private piece of wild Pembrokeshire.

We do things a little differently at King’s Mill. Each individually designed pitch is different from the next. From a cosy woodland haven nestled amongst the trees, to a sunny open meadow retreat with ranging views that offer a front seat to bask in the setting sun. There is a pitch to suit everyone at King’s Mill.

You'll have your own private hot shower on your pitch along with your own private eco toilet. All pitches have a covered shelter and picnic bench where you can cook, relax or have a campfire. Electric hook up is available. The firewood is free and we have a little shop for essentials.

Worth Noting: Close to Fresh Water West, Barafundle Bay, Bosherston Lilly Ponds, Broadhaven South, The Green Bridge of Wales, Stack Rocks and the castles. Sandy beaches, surfing, rockpooling and more. Further afield is Tenby, Saundersfoot and the bustling village of Narberth.
