About: Carregwen is a family run, newly opened, five pitch campsite in Ceredigion on the west coast of Wales. We would love for you to come and stay and share the experience of our secluded little gem.

The campsite is set within and acre of flat meadow. It has a small enclosed lake at the far end, which is frequented by an abundance of colourful dragonflies. Wild ducks and Canada geese often put in an appearance too. In our adjoining field, you'll find our own ducks and chickens with fresh eggs available. Our mischievous Shetland ponies, Tiny and Evan also roam the fields. Carregwen is a vehicle free camping field. Wheelbarrows are available to transport your camping gear to your pitch. We have a separate car park, which campervans are welcome to use.

There is an area housing our drop-down toilet, a separate urinal and washing up area. A quirky outdoor shower which has hot and cold running water and fresh water tap is situated in the carport. Campfires and barbecues are allowed on the pitches - and there is also a communal fire pit area overlooking the lake. Here you can enjoy amazing sunsets and admire the skies at night.

There is a local shop and post office where you can get your supplies and a pub, approximately a 10 minute walk from Carregwen. There is also a fishing lake which has recently opened very close by. We want to ensure that your stay is as relaxing and pleasurable as we can make it, so if you require assistance with anything at all we are always happy to help.

Worth Noting: Carregwen is close to the idyllic New Quay beach, where you can often see dolphins playing and the beautiful, picturesque harbour. Aberystwyth, is also within easy reach. Here you can get a steam train to Devils Bridge. There are plenty of woodland and country walks on our doorstep, which are ideal for cyclists and walkers alike.
