About: Situated in the gorgeous Towy Valley, Glanmarlais Camping offers wild pitches on mostly flat ground, in a gently sloping field. The campiste is ideally located for world-class walking, mountain biking.

Guests will enjoy a peaceful and rural retreat with amenities including compost toilets, a hot shower powered by an air-source heat pump (with changing room and vanity area), a washing up area, as well as a communal fridge. You will also have access to charging facilities for electronic devices and a large barn which provides a characterful communal dry space with tables and seating for rainy days.

Campfires are allowed by your tent and firewood is available for purchase on site, with an initial welcome bundle on the house. You can source further supplies from Llandovery (20 minutes’ drive) and Llandeilo (25 minutes). Both of these picturesque Welsh towns offer an array of shops, cafés, restaurants and traditional pubs.

Located on the edge of the Brecon Beacons National Park, the site offers easy access to walking trails through some of the UK’s most magnificent landscapes.

The beautiful beaches of west Wales, the Gower Peninsula and Pembrokeshire are all about an hour away for family ocean adventures and sandy summer days. For an enchanting day out around Dylan Thomas’ old stomping ground, head to Laugharne, Saint Clears or Llansteffan just outside Carmarthen.

For a quiet evening of entertainment, take a stroll to the village of Llansadwrn. Stop off at the Dragon’s Den bookstore to pick up a good read, have a wander around the ancient church, or order a pint of fine Welsh ale at the Sexton Arms.

Worth Noting: Funds from the campsite contribute to the development of a conservation grazing program to enhance the farm’s floral and faunal diversity and protect its existing habitats.
