Cwm Wye Camping
The place to sit back and relax in a peaceful meadow with the sound of flowing water from the nearby River Wye.
About: Welcome to Cwm Wye Camping, the place to sit back and relax in our peaceful meadow with the sound of water flowing down the nearby River Wye. With a beautiful night sky, evenings can be spent cosying round the campfire, gazing at the stars.
We have just five camping pitches in our meadow so you’re guaranteed a peaceful stay. The meadow is situated alongside a mature oak woodland, where you’ll find a communal campfire, sitting area, two compost toilets, hot shower and a washing up area.
Our site is perfectly located to take advantage of the fantastic nearby walks and mountain biking. At the bottom of the campsite, below the woodland, you will find the popular Wye Valley Walk. This runs south towards Builth Wells and north towards Newbridge-on-Wye.
We are a working sheep farm and providing a habitat for wildlife is very important to us. The farm borders common land known as Comon Coch, which gives you beautiful views of the Epynt Ranges and the Cambrian Mountains.
We look forward to welcoming you to our campsite.
Worth Noting: There’s a designated parking area with wheel barrows available to transport your items to your pitch. Firewood is included in pitch price. Unfortunately we can not take dogs. Five miles from the Royal Welsh Show Ground. 10 minute drive to the Cambrian Mountains. 16 miles from the famous Elan Valley Dams.
