Bibury Camping
Small farm campsite right in the heart Cotswolds and a short walk to the picturesque and historic village of Bibury.
About: Bibury Camping is set in a quiet corner of a field on an organic, Cotswold sheep farm. We have plenty of space: four acres for just ten pitches. The campsite field is surrounded on two sides by woodland and on one side by a traditional dry stone wall. It looks across fields of grazing sheep and the Coln Valley.
A short walk along peaceful footpaths will lead you to Bibury, one of Britain’s most famously scenic villages. The village has a pub, hotel with a restaurant, cafe-deli, post office/shop and a trout farm. Arlington Row and its 17th century weavers’ cottages are an international attraction. There are a number of lovely longer walks and rides in the area around the Coln Valley.
We have converted a horse box into two domestic-style flushing toilets, two hot water shower cubicles and a small sink. It has step-free access. On the area of hard-standing, there are also electricity points and an open-air stainless steel sink with hot water and worktops. Water is sparkling and pure, coming from an aquifer deep underground and the power is fed from a solar plant on the farm. You will find campfires and picnic tables across the site and a small shelter with seating. There are recycling facilities near the entrance.
