Prospect House Farm Campsite
A quiet, peaceful campsite set in the middle of a 138 acre farm and within the spectacular North York Moors National Park.
About: From the moment you enter and travel down the long driveway you can feel the stresses of life just drift away. Our site is perfectly positioned to be away from the hustle and bustle and be at one with all that nature can offer. Yet, we are still close enough to enjoy the attractions of Scarborough and the surrounding villages.
The campsite is well equipped with lovely showers, campfires and picnic benches. Wildlife a plenty; Roe deer graze the hedgerows and fox and badger cubs play away. Awake to the sound of birds singing and enjoy all there is to see.
A bridleway that passes nearby allows walkers to be off for the day, or have a wander down to the local pubs and treat yourself to supper. Scarborough’s famous North and South Bay beaches aren’t far away either, if you fancy a trip to the penny arcades or a dip in the sea. Why not explore the castle and visit the Rotunda Museum, or splash out at Alpamare Water Park. A short drive takes you to Dalby Forest, where you can enjoy 'Go Ape' or a day on your mountain bike.
But, if relaxing with friends and family is all you really want to do, then light the campfire, recline your chair and let the world pass you by. The truth is, you probably won’t want to be anywhere else, I know we don’t.
Worth Noting: Unfortunately, we can’t accept dogs on site.
