Ty Parke Farm Camping
Exceptional camping in a tranquil countryside setting, just minutes from the Pembrokeshire coast.
About Ty Parke: Ten minutes from St Davids and surrounded by the beautiful Pembrokeshire coastline, you will find the little gem that is Ty Parke. Away from roads, down a leafy track and deep in the tranquil countryside, just 12 camping pitches and three cosy hideaway yurts. Our campsite is set in a 52 acre re-wilding project of pasture meadows, young woodland (we've planted over 25,000 trees) and wildlife areas - all of it accessible from pretty meandering paths. Ty Parke is a place of adventure and is unique in the space it offers.
Camping Heaven: The camping pitches are dotted around in secluded sunny glades and nestling in the edges of the lovely family camping meadow (the pitches are separated by young trees and long meadow grasses). Each pitch is large enough for a family tent, gazebo and any other camping paraphernalia you might have. Each comes with a campfire, picnic table and water tap nearby. There are acres to explore: paddle in the stream, build dens, fly kites or just sit by your campfire and watch the plentiful wild life, magical sunsets and starry skies. Whether you chose a secluded camping spot, or the more sociable meadow, there's no danger of hearing your neighbour snore!
Yurt Glamping: If yurt glamping is more your style, you won't be disappointed! Hand built by us, the yurts provide that little bit of camping luxury - a double bed, two single sofa beds, woodburning stove, a separate 'camp kitchen' and your own private use hot shower and compost loo.
Facilities: Up in the barn, there are fridges, a freezer, washing machine, washing up areas, scrupuloulsy clean large family shower rooms and flushing loos - as well as an electric kettle, charging points and indoor (and outdoor) drying lines. There's large chill-out area for those occasional rainy days. Electricity is provided by our 5kW windmill and the plentiful hot water is heated by solar panels. The emphasis is on being gentle with the environment, whilst providing a comfortable, away-from-the-crowds camping holiday.
If you seek a campsite that is at one with the natural environment, is peaceful, relaxing and within easy reach of the beaches and the wonderful activities Pembrokeshire has to offer, you will find it here.
